What We Offer
Submissions open soon. Please check back!
We look forward to expanding into being a one-stop recording label. For now, we are acting more as a mixing, mastering, and distribution label.
What we offer:
Mixing and mastering;
50% royalties;
Printing of physical and electronic CDs (physical CDs will only be printed for albums consisting of 7 songs or more);
Distribution on our Store on our website;
Distribution to Spotify and everywhere else via Distrokid;
Set-up of a personal account on Bandcamp for each Artist (incl release of your music on this venue);
One experimental music video to be released on our YT channel;
Artist CDs sold to you at cost + shipping;
A bio on our Acts page including all relevant social media, purchase and streaming links;
At least one MUSIC MARGINS review about your act/release on our sibling site Punk Monk Magazine;
and as much other promotion as we can muster.
All of the above is free- which is how it should be.
You need to provide:
High-resolution album art (OR see below for other options**);
(Ideally) 1-10 fully recorded stems ready to be edited. (Fully mixed/mastered tracks are welcome, though we may suggest changes.);
Which song from the list here is most comparable to your sound? If none are, why do you think you’ll be a good fit?;
A bio, including:
Band name/members
High-res photo
Brief history of the band
Comparable acts. (Eg. Inspirations: Little Giants, Eminem, Lyrics Born.)
Extras/Options:
**If you don’t have your own album art, we can outsource for a $100 fee (all of which will go directly to the album artist.) You can get in touch with them, explain your vision, and they will provide 3 ideas for you to choose from, and give you opportunities to make 3-5 changes while they design the cover (both front and back.) (Note: The Catalysts' album cover was made this way.)
Alternatively, you can outsource for a $15 fee, all of which will go directly to the Owner, who will design your cover (both front and back) via various design template websites. They turn out pretty cool, too. (Note: Sara Tonin's album cover was made this way.)
